Matt “Nadeshot” Haag is lighting up the Counter-Strike 2 scene — not with clutches or entry frags, but by ripping open thousands of cases in front of tens of thousands of fans.
The 100 Thieves founder has officially become the most-watched CS2 streamer over the past week, all thanks to his absurd case-opening marathon that’s already cost him over $40,000 — and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

Since kicking things off on June 23rd, Nadeshot has gone all-in chasing rare knives, gloves, and skins, and the numbers speak for themselves. According to SullyGnome, he’s pulled in over 702,000 hours watched and peaked at 23,707 concurrent viewers between June 27th and July 4th.
The highlight? Nadeshot casually revealed on stream that he’d bought 2,000 Glove Cases — with plans to open them all after the July 4th holiday. It’s part of a week-long spree that’s included some of the most expensive and hyped case-opening sessions Twitch has seen in a while.
And the hype is catching on. Other big streamers are jumping back into CS2, hoping to ride the same wave. Summit1g, the former CS:GO pro turned variety streamer, came in second for CS2 content this week with over 561,000 hours watched — much of it thanks to similar crate-chasing content.
