Marvel Rivals is kicking things into high gear with the reveal of its Season 3: The Abyss Awakens roadmap — and there’s a lot to get hyped about.

Before the content goes live, the devs at NetEase are putting the game under maintenance starting July 11th at 2am PDT (10am BST), with downtime expected to last a few hours.

A special summer event is also heading your way, and our Rivals are ready to take on the heat!

The big highlight? The Marvel Rivals Ignite Mid-Season Finals, a massive showdown featuring top regional teams like Sentinels and Brr Brr Patapim, all battling it out for a share of the $500,000 (~£369,000) prize pool. Expect fireworks, high-level play, and plenty of new cosmetics making their esports debut.

Even if you’re not in the pro scene, there’s something for everyone. Team-Up abilities — a unique gameplay feature that lets two heroes combine powers for flashy, strategic plays — are getting new additions this season. Plus, Stage 2 of Marvel Rivals Ignite kicks off on August 1st, featuring open qualifiers for teams across every region.
