Mobile Legends: Bang Bang didn’t just show up in June — it took over. The mobile MOBA smashed through the global esports viewership rankings, claiming four out of the five most-watched matches of the month, according to Esports Charts.
If there was ever any doubt about the power of mobile esports, MLBB just sent a loud reminder.
At the top of the list? The MPL Indonesia Season 15 Grand Final between ONIC and RRQ Hoshi, which drew a staggering 4.1 million peak viewers. Three more MPL Indonesia matches also crossed the 2 million mark, securing Mobile Legends a near-clean sweep of the monthly rankings.

The only non-mobile match to break into the top five came from South Korea’s LCK Road to MSI, where T1 vs. Hanwha Life Esports reached 1.9 million viewers — impressive, but still noticeably behind MLBB’s numbers.
That means no Counter-Strike 2 from the Austin Major, and no VALORANT from VCT Masters Toronto made the cut — a stark contrast to previous months, where titles like VALORANT, League of Legends, and CS2 often battled for top slots.
This isn’t just a blip — it reflects a growing viewership divide between mobile and PC esports, especially in Southeast Asia. MLBB consistently dominates month-to-month, thanks to hyper-engaged fanbases in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and beyond. In fact, Mobile Legends events regularly hit multi-million peaks, while PC titles outside of League of Legends have struggled to keep pace globally.
