Esports organization Gaimin Gladiators (GG) has officially filed a lawsuit against its former roster after being prevented from participating in The International 2025.

According to filings lodged in the Ontario province, GG is seeking 7.5 million Canadian dollars in damages from players including Quinn, Ace, tOfu, and Watson.

The controversy began after a public dispute between GG’s president Nick Kuchkovillo and Quinn. The player claimed the team was ready to compete under the GG tag but was not permitted to do so.

GG countered that the players had breached their contracts, refusing to fulfill obligations including social and media commitments with partners.

GG also alleges that it sought to enforce penalties on certain players by requiring salary forfeitures for unmet obligations. In October 2024, Quinn sparked a public backlash with derogatory comments during a stream, leading to the termination of a contract with one of GG’s partners. The players have not commented on the lawsuit at present.
