StarLadder has dropped the dates for its Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQ) for the Budapest Major this November, setting the stage for some of the biggest matchups of the year.

The MRQs will run from October 16th to 19th, 2025, with invites going out on October 8th. On the same day, StarLadder will also send direct Major invites to top-tier squads hungry for a shot at CS2 glory.

StarLadder’s MRQs will once again cover all the major regions — Europe, North America, South America, West Asia, East Asia, and China — with all matches played online to determine who’s heading to Budapest.

The Budapest Major marks the second CS2 Major of 2025, following the epic BLAST.tv Austin Major earlier this year. From November 24th to December 12th, 32 of the world’s best teams will battle it out for a piece of the massive $1.25 million (~£924,000) prize pool, sticking to the intense three-stage format that fans have come to love.

Now, they’re ready to write the next chapter with Budapest, bringing that same high-energy atmosphere and killer matchups fans crave.
