After years of anticipation from players and fans alike, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is finally getting the Tier 1 esports treatment. Riot Games has officially announced the TFT Pro Circuit, set to debut with Set 15: K.O. Coliseum this August — a massive step forward for the auto-battler’s competitive scene.
Launching on August 29th, 2025, the TFT Pro Circuit will feature three major tournaments throughout the K.O. Coliseum cycle, each spotlighting the best players in the world.
The inaugural event will see 32 players battle it out for glory — 28 qualified through the Cyber City set, and four handpicked by Riot based on their legacy and impact on TFT esports.
This marks the first time TFT will have a true global Tier 1 esports circuit, putting it on the same competitive stage as Riot’s other flagship titles like League of Legends and VALORANT. It’s a milestone that longtime fans and top-ranked players have been dreaming about since the game’s release in 2019.
This next chapter brings even greater opportunities for players to shine on the competitive stage — especially with the high-stakes backdrop of Whisker’s ultimate anime fighting tournament

Alongside the Pro Circuit, Riot will also host the TFT Open, a massive live tournament happening in Paris, France at the Porte de Versailles. With 768 open slots, the event invites grinders, leaderboard climbers, and rising stars to step into the ring and prove themselves on a global stage.
