BLAST has officially named Anne Banschbach as its new Programme Director overseeing the Valve ecosystem tournaments, including BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam series for Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.

In her new role, Banschbach will lead strategic direction across both leagues, working closely with teams, players, partners, and stakeholders to refine event execution and grow BLAST’s footprint in the competitive scene.

Previously, Banschbach served as Head of Esports Operations at Team Vitality for four years, before joining BLAST in July.

Whereas for BLAST, the difference is that I’m looking more at how we can make our product the best it can be. So, it’s still winning, but on the product side, not on the competitive side.
