PUBG Teams Up with G‑DRAGON for Epic Global Collaboration

KRAFTON just raised the stakes in gaming entertainment — by bringing in K-pop superstar G‑DRAGON for a cross-platform collaboration across PUBG Battlegrounds (PC/console) and PUBG Mobile.

This unexpected crossover was first hinted at during G‑DRAGON’s Las Vegas concert, where excitement rippled through the crowd when the artist’s involvement was revealed. For G‑DRAGON, it’s a groundbreaking step into the world of gaming.

The collaboration kicks off with cinematic trailers and exclusive in-game content launching September 19, supported by offline activations starting in Seongsu, Seoul, and expanding globally through additional fan events. More details are expected soon via KRAFTON’s official channels.

Meanwhile, Tencent’s Riot Games has also embraced K-pop: the 2023 League of Legends World Championship anthem, ‘GODS’, was created in collaboration with NewJeans (now rebranded as NJZ). The group also delivered a live performance at the Grand Final in South Korea, cementing the genre’s impact on major gaming events.
