Complexity CEO Confirms CS2 Roster Withdrawal

In a statement posted on social media platform X, CEO Jason Lake announced that the current CS2 roster has been released from its contracts. This move marks the end of Complexity’s active presence in the professional CS2 scene for the time being.

Lake emphasized that Complexity is not shutting down its CS2 division entirely, but is instead entering a rebuilding phase. The organization will be “taking time to evaluate the scene and explore future opportunities.”

The news comes after a series of underwhelming results in 2025 and mounting speculation about changes within the North American organization. Complexity had been one of the few consistent representatives from the region on the international CS2 stage.
