The International 2025 is just around the corner, and the excitement is real! Eight squads have secured their direct invites, while eight more will battle through qualifiers to join them. With the list of invited teams now out, fans everywhere are counting down to September when TI returns to Germany — the birthplace of the very first Dota 2 Major back in 2011.
This year’s edition of TI will feature 16 teams, up from last year’s six direct invites to eight this year. It’s a sign of how competitive and thrilling the 2025 Dota 2 season has been — with so many teams stepping up and proving they belong in the biggest spotlight.
The eight directly invited squads include reigning champions, breakout contenders, and consistent powerhouses: Team Liquid, PARIVISION, BB Team, All Gamers Global, GG, Team Spirit, Team Falcons, Tundra eSports.
Joining them will be eight more teams, set to emerge from the regional qualifiers running from June 4 to 17. Some of these squads have already locked in their qualifier spots — Aurora and Heroic.
