Esports juggernaut OG, with its multi-title rosters and celebrated history in Dota 2, is struggling financially. Its 2024 financial report reveals just €836,877 in revenue, while staff costs alone exceeded €3 million—signaling a significant operating loss and raising doubts about the organization’s long-term viability.

In light of these challenges, OG is exploring sponsorship from betting companies to bridge the financial gap, despite already having several prominent crypto-themed partners.

  • Red Bull – A long-time banner sponsor present since OG’s Dota 2 International triumphs, including two championship victories and over $27 million in prize earnings
  • Socios – A fan app enabling users to buy team-specific crypto tokens, which currently trade near $5 each
  • Secret Lab – Known for their premium gaming furniture, especially oversized chairs
  • Valhalla.Game – A Web3 combat MMO built around the $FLOKI cryptocurrency

OG’s financial statement highlights that betting partnerships—historically lucrative yet untouched to date—remain untapped due to market conditions.
