British esports organization Guild Esports, co-owned by football legend David Beckham, has announced it will cease all operations due to unresolved financial struggles and a challenging economic climate.

The club was listed for sale on an insolvency marketplace in August 2025, but no buyer emerged. In a social media statement, leadership admitted that despite their best efforts, financial difficulties and the overall economic situation made continued operations untenable.
