In a statement posted on social media platform X, CEO Jason Lake announced that the current CS2 roster has been released from its contracts. This move marks the end of Complexity’s active presence in the professional CS2 scene for the time being.

Lake emphasized that Complexity is not shutting down its CS2 division entirely, but is instead entering a rebuilding phase. The organization will be “taking time to evaluate the scene and explore future opportunities.”

This announcement adds to a turbulent year for North American CS, as several organizations reassess their investments in Valve’s flagship tactical shooter.
