Riot Games has officially announced the venues and tournament structure for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship, set to take place across three iconic cities in China.
Running from October 14 to November 9, 2025, the event will mark the game’s return to China for the first time since 2020, bringing with it a new competitive twist and world-class arenas.

The championship will kick off in Beijing, at the Smart Esports Center — a modern facility hosting its first-ever LoL Worlds event. Notably, a new best-of-five qualifier will debut here between the 4th seeds from the LCK (Korea) and LPL (China), offering an extra pathway into the Swiss Stage.
The action then moves to Shanghai for the single-elimination bracket, featuring quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the intense lead-up to the championship match. Unlike previous years, there will be no break days between these elimination rounds.
