Moon Studios’ upcoming action‑RPG, No Rest for the Wicked, may launch on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 before arriving on Xbox Series X|S, according to studio CEO Thomas Mahler.

Mahler explained in a Discord message that after becoming fully independent, Moon Studios must carefully prioritize console versions based on available resources.

Currently available in Early Access on Steam since April 2024, the PC version of No Rest for the Wicked blends Soulslike precision with Diablo‑style loot mechanics, and supports single-player and multiplayer modes.

Moon Studios, best known for the Ori series, is focused on maintaining high quality across platforms and emphasized that any future console ports will only proceed when the team can deliver at its best. The PS5 version remains the primary target for now, with Xbox’s timeline uncertain.
