FaZe Clan is bringing the Halo Championship Series back to Charlotte! The org has officially announced it will host the fourth and final HCS Major of the 2025 season — setting the stage for one last showdown before the Halo World Championship later this year.
The Charlotte Major will take place from October 3–5 at the Charlotte Convention Center, featuring top-tier Halo talent from around the globe and a $250,000 prize pool on the line.

For those unfamiliar with how the HCS calendar works, the Major tournaments are the biggest stops in the season — global LAN events where the best teams clash for circuit points, prize money, and bragging rights. The Charlotte Major is the last Major before Worlds, making it one of the most important events of the year.
Alongside the pro tournament, FaZe will also host a $5,000 Free-for-All (FFA) competition open to any competitor on-site — giving rising stars and local talent a chance to show off their skills.

This isn’t Charlotte’s first taste of Halo greatness. Back in 2023, the city hosted the Year 2 Kickoff Major, drawing in 78 teams and capping off with an epic Grand Final between OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan, where OpTic walked away with the win and $100,000.
And there’s more momentum behind the scenes too. In May, ENVY announced its return to Halo esports after four years away, signaling renewed interest in the title as it pushes into its competitive prime.
