NA esports powerhouse Sentinels is looking to make some big moves. CEO Rob Moore has confirmed that the org is exploring entry into both CS2 and League of Legends, signaling a bold expansion plan aimed at shaking up two of the most storied competitive scenes in gaming.
For League of Legends, the plan could begin with the Guest Slot system, which gives new teams a shot at qualifying for the League of LTA. While still exploratory, the move would represent Sentinels’ first serious push into Riot’s flagship MOBA.

In Counter-Strike, a Sentinels entry could be a huge morale boost for the NA scene, which has been struggling to stay competitive internationally. At the BLAST.tv Austin Major, Team Liquid’s top-16 finish was the best the region could manage — a far cry from the NA glory days.
Founded in 2016, Sentinels has built one of the most recognizable brands in North American esports, largely thanks to its massive success and showmanship in VALORANT. The team lifted international trophies at VALORANT Masters Reykjavík 2021 and Masters Madrid 2024, and their roster consistently draws top-tier viewership and fan engagement.
