In a major milestone, Crash Team Racing Nitro‑Fueled—the 2019 remake of the classic kart racer has now surpassed 10 million copies sold worldwide, according to a recent announcement from Activision.

Originally released on June 21, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, Nitro‑Fueled combines the core content of the 1999 Naughty Dog classic with additional tracks and characters from Crash Nitro Kart and Crash Tag Team Racing.

However, the absence of a PC release and locked 30 FPS performance on current-gen backward compatibility have drawn criticism.

Hitting the 10-million mark underscores Nitro‑Fueled’s impressive and enduring appeal. Despite being confined to consoles, the title has emerged as one of the best-selling kart racers outside Nintendo’s Mario Kart franchise.
